CISSP For Students

The cissp exam is largely the gold standard of security certifications. It by no means is the most technical, but instead covers the common body of knowledge that all security professionals should have.

Now if you are a student and have looked at the CISSP requirements you likely noticed that you need 4 or so years more work experience for the certification. This is true, however you may not have noticed that you can still take the test and become an "Associate of (ISC)^2". This is what I plan to do. The obvious benefit is when it comes time to look for a job, I will be able to say "yeah , I passed the cissp, I just need the work experience to receive the certification."

And let's be honest, as college students we probably have more time than we like to admit , less xbox , les parties, more cissp eh?

I will be studying with the Sybex book
I will also post here as I go through each chapter and jot down what I thought the most important things to remember are. (For my own benefit, and the benefit of anyone reading)
